Welcome to neotacular | Forums
Are you interested in helping other neopians and neotacular users out? If so you should sign up to be one of our live help staff, you can apply here! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Island textureLets start by getting a new canvas. I'd say an OK size, according to what you'll use it for. I'm using 800x800.Fill the background with a GREEN color. Go to Filter > Artistic > Sponge. Use the following settings. Brush Size: 10 Definition: 25 Smoothness: 4 You now have a funny looking image XD Duplicate the layer. Get out the layers pallet. Select the bottom layer Hit CTRL + U, and select "COLORIZE" Use the following settings: Hue: 200% Saturation: 100% Lightness: 25 Now back to the layers palette, hit the top layer! Select the magic tool, or magic wand as some say it! Set the tolerance at 10 Now click a dark green area. Press "DELETE" Continue until you have only a few of the darker areas left With you still on top layer go to blending options > Bevel & Emboss, leaving everything the same but size & soften at 2. Add a small stroke of green in blending options to make the islands more visable. By Kat (amac) « Main List |
